Queen is a rock band from the United Kingdom formed in 1970 in London. Originally consisted of Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass). Queen's early work was influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but slowly changed to a more conventional and friendly music with radio listeners, incorporating a more diverse style of music into their music.

The story of the success of Queen began in 1967, where Brian May, who was a guitarist and Roger Taylor, who was a drummer, joined Tim Staffell, who was a singer. And then them started a band called Smile. Unfortunately, Staffell then chose to go solo and Smile had to be disbanded. May and Taylor then returned to look for a singer who has a distinctive voice. Then, they later met Freddie Mercury from a band called Wreckage and invited him to join. Shortly, after that, John Deacon who is a base join them.

However, as long as the members of the band completed their respective lectures for two years, they avoided playing on stage. What is unique, after graduating, they immediately started recording. And they call themselves Queen.

Their first tour was held in 1973, when their debut album was released. After the second album was released, the band made their debut tour in the United States. They performed as the opening band of Mott the Hoople's concert. Freddie's distinctive voice, striking glam rock music, a bit of heavy metal, and a complicated vocal work they managed to combine. From this combination, music lovers in America began to glance at the name Queen.

Then, Queen released their third album "Sheer Heart Attack" in 1974. The song that later became hits was 'Killer Queen'. This song is Queen's first song to enter the ranks of the first top twenty US hits. And this album also became the album that won their first American gold album. Queen fans were reportedly sticking out after they released the album "A Night at the Opera" in 1975. The album contained a six-minute song titled "Bohemian Rhapsody".

In addition, Queen has eight gold awards and six platinum awards for various works of their songs. Of course, this makes them one of the world's music legends. And some of their songs, such as 1979's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Another One Bites the Dust", won first place on the list of top American forty groups. There were also 1975 "Killer Queen" in 12th place, "Bohemian Rhapsody" 1976 in ninth position, "You're My Best Friend" 1976 in number 16, "somebody to Love" 1976 in 13th position, "We Are Champion" and "We Will Rock You" 1977 came in fourth.                       The Great Smog of London, or Great Smog in 1952, was a severe air pollution event that affected the capital of London in London in early December 1952. A period of cold weather, combined with anticyclone and non-windy conditions, collected air pollutants - most of which arose from the use of coal - to form a thick layer of smoke above the city. It lasted from Friday 5 December to Tuesday 9 December 1952, and spread quickly as the weather changed. This causes major disturbances by reducing visibility and even penetrating indoor areas, far more severe than previous smog events experienced in the past, called "pea-soupers". Government medical reports in the following weeks, however, estimate that until December 8, 4,000 people had died as a direct result of the smog and another 100,000 became ill by the effects of the smog on the human respiratory tract.] More recent studies have shown that the total number of deaths perhaps much larger, one paper th
