MOTION : THBT WOMEN SHOULD NOT WORK / CONTRA (OLIN & RAISA)

Contra Argument / Opinion

Respected teacher, and students. Today, I stand before you to express my views for the

motion of the given topic for debate. I as the contra team believe that this statement is

false.

I believe that women should work. Recently, women have engaged in various jobs, and

gained respect in society. Many think that a woman’s rightful place in society is in the home.

However, women can find happiness through works that they enjoy.

Personally, I think that in order to build a strong family a wife and husband should bring in

an income so as to improve the welfare of the family hence giving themselves a comfortable

life.

Nonetheless, there may be times when the husband is unable to provide adequate support

because of illness or other extenuating circumstances. It might be necessary for the wife to

obtain a job to support the family.

In my humble opinion, working full time gives you a bigger sense of purpose and personal

fulfillment. Having a life of your own and enjoying it on your own terms is very important for

every individual. Working women have a sense of self-accomplishment and fulfillment.

PRO (DYTA & VIOLA)

Pro Argument / Opinion

First of all, we as the pro team agree with the statement because marriage women already

have the responsibility to take care of the house, take care of their husband and their

children. In matters to build a good household, there are several things where women

couldn’t be placed by a husband example like giving a birth.

One thing in itself is the greatest thing also the hardest for a women.

There is no need to compare the pain between women and men, but just understand if a

woman can giving a birth, and because of that, why do women still have to work?

Men should give love and warmth to a women for doing great things and also their children

must receive love from their mother, even though they are able to have a babysitter, the

children still has to get love from their mother purely. There’s many children who were lack

of attention and love because their parents are working, no matter what and whoever, the

children must still be cared for and have the right to love.

Once again, we agree with the statement that ‘women should not work’ this is because

married women have an obligation to become housewives to take care of their children and

serve their husband. Even though women have the right to work, it would be better for

women to be housewives so that the needs of the family could be fullfil in a spiritual ways

and men could fullfil the needs of the family in a physically ways, so that both sides have a

balanced role in their family.

The Great Smog of London, or Great Smog in 1952, was a severe air pollution event that affected the capital of London in London in early December 1952. A period of cold weather, combined with anticyclone and non-windy conditions, collected air pollutants - most of which arose from the use of coal - to form a thick layer of smoke above the city. It lasted from Friday 5 December to Tuesday 9 December 1952, and spread quickly as the weather changed. This causes major disturbances by reducing visibility and even penetrating indoor areas, far more severe than previous smog events experienced in the past, called "pea-soupers". Government medical reports in the following weeks, however, estimate that until December 8, 4,000 people had died as a direct result of the smog and another 100,000 became ill by the effects of the smog on the human respiratory tract.] More recent studies have shown that the total number of deaths perhaps much larger, one paper th

Queen is a rock band from the United Kingdom formed in 1970 in London. Originally consisted of Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass). Queen's early work was influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but slowly changed to a more conventional and friendly music with radio listeners, incorporating a more diverse style of music into their music. The story of the success of Queen began in 1967, where Brian May, who was a guitarist and Roger Taylor, who was a drummer, joined Tim Staffell, who was a singer. And then them started a band called Smile. Unfortunately, Staffell then chose to go solo and Smile had to be disbanded. May and Taylor then returned to look for a singer who has a distinctive voice. Then, they later met Freddie Mercury from a band called Wreckage and invited him to join. Shortly, after that, John Deacon who is a base join them. However, as long as the members of the band
