Today, I stand before you to express my views for the motion of the given topic for debate. I as the contra team believe that this statement is false. I believe that women should work. Recently, women have engaged in various jobs, and gained respect in society. Many think that a woman’s rightful place in society is in the home. However, women can find happiness through works that they enjoy. Personally, I think that in order to build a strong family a wife and husband should bring in an income so as to improve the welfare of the family hence giving themselves a comfortable life. Nonetheless, there may be times when the husband is unable to provide adequate support because of illness or other extenuating circumstances. It might be necessary for the wife to obtain a job to support the family. I
